seasoned transport professional with an early education from Queen’s College, Yaba, Lagos in 1978, I obtained an M.Sc Transport from the University of Wales, Cardiff in 1994, a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration from the Academic Staff College of Nigerian (ASCON) in 1991 and a B.Sc International Studies from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1983. I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, a Fellow of the African Center for Supply Chain, a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Shipping and a Fellow of Port and Terminal Management Academy of Nigeria.

I have over 30 years working experience in the Seaport Industry, including the Youth Service to the nation with the Nigerian Customs Service. I have attended many seminars with visitations to major Ports in the world and am currently Head the Traffic Department of Tincan Island Port, Nigeria.

As a Council member of CILT Nigeria, I  founded the group Women in Logistics and Transport ( WiLAT) in 2010 which has now spread globally to many Countries.

I am a recipient of several professional and community Awards, notable among them is the CILT International’s President 2014 Medal presented to me by the immediate past president and WiLAT Global Advisor Dr Dorothy Chan.

I chose CILT as my career guide and professional anchor when I was an M.Sc Transport student  in Cardiff in 1994. It has provided me with the necessary support network through its National and International conferences. I have professional colleagues from many countries that have positively impacted on my career growth and I am  happy and proud to be a Fellow of CILT. It is certainly a leading professional body that  appreciates diversity and I believe that as a global institute we are certainly Stronger Together

I am honoured to promote WiLAT within CILT as a unique platform for encouraging, empowering and supporting professional women in the Logistics and Transport industry.
