My 30 plus years in supply chain operational management and as an Institute member gave me the experience and the opportunity to give my time and energies back into the profession when I started in the role in 2012.

I am privileged in my job to work with some many interesting and skilled professionals from across the world. They are from diverse sectors of the industry and of differing age, sex and race but our profession brings us together.

I strive to enable the sharing of our expertise and to be uniting of our desire to serve our businesses and communities by doing our daily tasks well and constantly improving how we do those tasks.

As the leader of our talented international secretariat team we seek to communicate our common message and help create and manage our global strategies, professional development programmes and events. Through these the Logistics and Transport family works together successfully to provide important inputs into our economies and our societies in every country where we operate. Together we do make a difference.
